Kayla Basham‏

Kayla has taken cheer, dance, and gymnastics since she was four year olds in Lake Jackson, TX. She went on to become a competitive cheerleader at the age of 11 for Cheer Extreme. Kayla cheered for Lake Jackson Intermediate School and then for Brazoswood High School as well. She competed in many competitions such as Cheer Power and competed in Nationals every year during her time on the team. Her team took home many first places in local competitions and they took 2nd and 3rd in Nationals. Kayla claims that she owes her success as an Instructor by competing on a Competition Team where she learned many skills in Team work, discipline, and hard work. Kayla begin teaching for TXA in 2013 until present. Kayla teaches Cheer, Tumbling, Little Gym, and Lil Steppers Dance classes. Kayla works hard to get the students of TX Academy to reach their goals to the best of their abilities. Kayla has completed an associates of applied science from Brazosport Community College and is still furthering her career. She currently works for Llewellyn Corp of America. Kayla has a little boy named Jordan who is her number one.
